Assessment
Fees are the standard one-year application; longer permits scale the permit fee. Legal and translation costs come on top.
Methodology and sources
The standard evaluation criteria for private-sector employers: paid-in capital of at least ₺500,000, or annual net sales of at least ₺80,000,000, or annual exports of at least $150,000, any one of which suffices, plus 5 Turkish employees per foreign worker at the sponsoring workplace.

- 2026 work permit fee: ₺12,575 for one year, plus ₺964 card fee · Fees Law General Communique No. 98, Official Gazette No. 33124 (31 Dec 2025)
- Work permit framework · International Labour Law No. 6735
The financial tests are alternatives: paid-in capital, net sales or exports. Meeting any one of them satisfies the financial criterion.
Certain workplaces are exempt from some criteria: liaison offices, sectors with special arrangements, and foreign shareholders above set thresholds follow their own rules.
A foreign partner who owns at least 20% of the company with capital of at least ₺500,000 falls under partner-specific criteria instead.
Fees scale with permit duration; the figures here are the standard one-year application.
