Health cover between two countries. The insurance line above covers your belongings in transit, not you. Moving means a gap between leaving one health system and joining the next, and this is the product built for that window: monthly, cancellable, and it can start before you arrive. Its cheaper Essential tier gives limited cover in your home country and pauses while you are there; the Complete tier covers the country you live in but is not sold to residents of certain countries, so check the list before assuming. Neither tier satisfies a Turkish residence permit, which requires a policy from a Turkish licensed insurer.

Cheaper per day, wrong shape for a move. EKTA sells trip insurance from about a dollar a day, which looks like the better buy until you read what it covers: only time spent outside your country of permanent residence. The day your destination becomes where you live, the policy has nothing to pay on. It fits a defined round trip with a return ticket, or proof of insurance for a visa application, rather than the move itself. Both links pay us, on different terms: a quarter of this policy's price once, and a tenth of the policy above for as long as it runs.

Transport is the shipment volume multiplied by a per cubic metre band derived from published mover price ladders on each corridor, floored at the minimum charge below which movers will not run the job. Packing is an uplift on the transport line, insurance a percentage of declared value, storage a rate per cubic metre per month, and customs clearance a flat brokerage band. Peak season and flexible dates apply to the whole estimate.
Home size bands span British and Turkish conventions rather than averaging them: movers in the two countries size the same flat differently, and pretending otherwise would make the estimate look precise while being wrong. Two earlier drafts of this dataset were rejected in verification for citations that did not hold up on the pages they named; only figures confirmed on their source page are published here.
Where a mover publishes a price ladder by home size rather than a rate per cubic metre, the band here is derived from that ladder: the lowest published price against its largest volume, up to the highest price against its smallest. That is why the bands are wide. Where two sources disagreed, the band was widened rather than averaged.
Prices quoted in dirhams, pounds and dollars are converted at approximately AED 1 to EUR 0.236, GBP 1 to EUR 1.18 and USD 1 to EUR 0.87, mid market rates from mid August 2026. Every source figure is also held in its original currency so the conversion can be redone. The route from the United Arab Emirates to Turkey is the weakest in the set: no mover publishes a door to door household rate in that direction, so it is built from a published backhaul truck rate, a groupage rate per cubic metre and published sea transit times.
